Frequently asked questions

How Can I Download My Items?

Once Etsy has processed your order (which usually only takes a couple of minutes), you will receive a link via email. Etsy will always send the link to the email address associated with your Etsy account. Alternatively, via the Etsy webpage you can click on “Your Account” then scroll to the “Purchases” tab. From there you just need to find your transaction and click the “Download Files” button.

How Do I Print My Items?

All products I create are JPEG or PNG files. These can be opened and printed via any image editing software such as Microsoft Photos (free), Adobe Acrobat (free) or Photoshop (paid subscription with free trial). It is recommended that digital papers be treated like photographs for the best printing outcome – use a good quality printer and paper at home or get it printed at an office supply store.

Can I Use Your Products?

Personal use allowed. Go crazy and get creative!

Educational use allowed (ie: teachers can use these products to create classroom posters, activities, worksheets, newsletters, etc.)

Is Commercial Use Allowed?

All DSD products are available for limited commercial use.

To be able to use these products commercially you:

- Must be a sole business owner with no employees

- May use any DSD products to create physical or digital products for sale. Digital products must be in a flattened format (ie: jpeg, png, etc.)

- May sell items via Etsy, Ebay, print-on-demand sites, etc. (although please note the production limits)

- May use DSD products to create backgrounds for apps, websites, magazines, etc.

- Must not use any individual paper more than 1,000 times

- Must not create items which are then sold for commercial use or as a design resource (ie: vectors, clip art, digital papers, collages, etc.)

What About Commercial DigiScrap/Cardmaking?

Digital and physical scrapbook kit makers are allowed to use DSD products in their kits. DSD papers must not make up more than 30% of the finished kits products. Credit is required.

Scrap4Hire businesses may not produce more than 1,000 pages using any individual paper. Credit is required.

Card-makers who sell their products may not produce more than 1,000 cards using any individual paper. Credit is not required.

An extended commercial license is available which allows use by small- to medium-sized businesses and removes some limits and restrictions.

Is There Anything I Can’t Do?

Customers are not permitted to edit, share, re-sell, copy or re-distribute any original unaltered DSD products in digital form unless otherwise stated.

Customers are not permitted to claim DSD products as their own.

Customers are not permitted to use DSD products to create any digital or physical items (for personal or commercial use) that supports or depicts racism, pornography, homophobia, violence, hatred or anything else which may be deemed obscene or offensive.
